Job Title: Team and Community Manager, Excellence program
Location: Sangam Vihar, New Delhi
Organization: Khel Khel Mein Foundation (KKMF)
Compensation: ₹35,000- 40,000/month based on experience and skills for the role. 
Job Type: Full-time (with 3-month probation)

Role Description

As the Team and Community Manager, Excellence program, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the KKM Fellowship for Football Excellence program, which focuses on the development and growth of 30 girls in the program. Your role will require a blend of strategic planning, operational management, and strong leadership skills to drive the success of the fellowship. You will directly contribute to the girls' sports and career development journey, guiding them through technical training, emotional resilience, and personal growth. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in grassroots football and empower young athletes to excel both on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Management & Coordination
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the KKM Fellowship for Football Excellence, ensuring smooth and efficient operations for all 30 players.

     
  • Coordinate with the Head Coach to support technical training and provide feedback on player development.

     
  • Manage logistics for training sessions and travel, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place for the squad’s needs.

     
  • Monitor the players’ progress in football and support their personal growth by fostering a positive and empowering environment.

     

Player Development & Support

  • Counsel and mentor players to build emotional resilience, helping them navigate both on-field challenges and off-field personal development.

     
  • Track and support the players’ nutrition and recovery programs, ensuring they have the necessary resources to maintain peak physical condition.

     
  • Provide individualized support to players, ensuring that their unique needs are met, both in terms of football training and personal challenges.

     

Community Engagement & Scouting

  • Mobilize community youth to join the program, fostering relationships with local stakeholders and schools to identify new talent.
  • Lead scouting and enrollment drives targeting youth aged 13-20, ensuring strong participation and growth of the program.

     

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Build strong partnerships with community stakeholders, parents, and local organizations to expand the program's impact and sustainability.
  • Manage relationships with parents, ensuring they are informed and involved in their child’s football journey and personal development.
  • Explore partnerships with educational institutions and football organizations to further the girls’ academic and professional football aspirations.

     

Data Management & Reporting

  • Manage program data (attendance, player progress, logistics, etc.) using spreadsheets and digital tools, ensuring the smooth organization and tracking of all activities.
  • Review program performance using dashboards and provide regular updates to the leadership team on key achievements, challenges, and growth.

     

Skills & Criteria:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in managing sports teams, community-based programs, or excellence programs in sports.
    Strong team management skills, with the ability to lead and support diverse groups of young athletes.
  • Knowledge of football (or other sports such as Kho-Kho) and an understanding of the football market, agents, and clubs is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with both athletes and community stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage logistics and coordinate multiple aspects of a program, from training sessions to travel arrangements.
  • Comfortable working with data tools (spreadsheets, dashboards) for program organization and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; fluency in Hindi is required.
  • Graduation is necessary
