Nature Environment & Wildlife Society (NEWS) is inviting applications for Project Assistant – Youth Climate Citizenship

📍 Location: Kolkata & Sundarban field sites
💼 Type: Project-based Contract
💰 Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

✨ Role Highlights:

• Support youth climate citizenship programmes, eco-clubs, and youth-led climate & biodiversity actions.
• Mobilise and coordinate youth groups and volunteers across Kolkata and Sundarban.
• Assist in communication, documentation, and storytelling (reports, social media, photos/videos).
• Support field coordination, trainings, and basic project documentation.
• Assist with research and preparation of knowledge materials.

🎓 Who Can Apply:

✔ Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Social Science, Journalism, Communication, or related fields
✔ Strong communication and digital skills
✔ Willingness to work in Sundarban field conditions and travel frequently
✔ Interest in climate action, youth leadership, and community-based work
