Project Assistant

Role: We, at Planet Earth Foundation (PEF), India are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Project Assistant and Project Interns to support our Afforestation project in the urban landscape of Hindupur, Sri Satya Sai district, Andhra Pradesh. The role involves field coordination, management of resources, data collection, and documentation.

Essential Requirements: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Forestry, Botany, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Conservation, Ecology, or related fields. 
- Relevant field experience in afforestation, ecological restoration, or similar environmental projects.
- Fluency in English and Hindi.
- Ability to drive a 2-wheeler (Must possess a Driving License).
- Willingness to relocate to Hindupur and travel for project-related work.
- Physically and mentally fit for conducting outdoor fieldwork.
- Passion and commitment to environmental conservation.
- Master's Students wish to do their Thesis project will be given preference for internship.

Desirable Requirements: - Language proficiency in Telugu or Kannada.
- Strong organizational skills for field coordination, data collection, and documentation.
- Knowledge of plant species, soil science, and ecosystem restoration processes.

Stipend and Perks: 
- Project Assistant: INR 12,000 Per/M.
