The organization is seeking a Principal Specialist - Fundraising to anchor fundraising efforts and funder relationships across Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), and Foundations. &  Actively scout for donors and raise funds as per Shikshas [ Education] fundraising goals. 

Responsibilities:

• Actively scout for and acquire donors to meet the organizations fundraising goals.
• Own and manage all funder relationships, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Create and manage customized funder proposals to target different funders based on their specific interests and needs, ensuring timely submission.
• Prepare individual project reports for different projects, adhering to funder-specified formats and agreed-upon timelines (mostly quarterly and annually).
• Conduct comprehensive online secondary research to understand funder interests and needs, which will inform the targeting of proposals.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and attend key project meetings to understand the on-the-ground realities of projects.
• Handle other fundraising-related tasks as they arise and as required by the team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record of successfully raising funds from large institutional donors, CSRs, and HNIs.
• Substantial experience in managing and nurturing donor relationships.
• A strong network within the global and Indian donor community.
• A deep understanding of the development sector and the funder ecosystem.
• Excellent proposal writing skills, with the ability to adapt content for different programs and donor requirements.
• A high level of ethics and integrity.
• Strong sense of ownership and a results-oriented mindset.
