Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR) is officially inviting proposals from expert consultant teams and research agencies to conduct a systematic and objective-based impact evaluation of our project: "ProRISE β Project on Resilient Incomes for Smallholder Farmers through an Ecosystems Approach"
ProRISE aims to ensure resilient income for smallholder farmers through the Farmer-Producer Company (FPC) model. Currently, the project is being implemented by 11 FPCs across the drought-prone districts of Jalna, Dharashiv, and Solapur in Maharashtra
Key Objectives of the Evaluation:
β Assess the project's relevance, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability.
β Evaluate the achievement of core indicators, such as increasing the net income of 10,000 farmers by at least 1.5 times and engaging 20,000 families in climate-resilient farming.
β Analyse the effectiveness of FPOs in onboarding farmers, particularly women in governance and business activities.
β Draw strategic lessons and recommendations for future program design.
