About Senior Manager, Ecosystem Enabler:

The Senior Manager – Ecosystem Enabler will lead SArC’s ecosystem-level scale vertical, focused on expanding the reach, adoption, and influence of SArC’s ideas, tools, resources, and learning across the wider education ecosystem.

This role will be responsible for building platforms and pathways through which more educators, school leaders, NGOs, and ecosystem actors can understand, access, adopt, and advocate for visual arts and SEL in education. The role will work closely with the Founders and internal teams to strengthen SArC’s position as a go-to resource for Arts for SEL, while building communities, open resources, convenings, and ecosystem partnerships that advance the field.

Roles and responsibilities:

Ecosystem Strategy and Vertical Building

1. Define and lead the strategy for SArC’s Ecosystem Enabler vertical, aligned with the organization’s broader strategic direction and long-term scale ambitions
2. Develop the vertical’s 3-year vision, annual priorities, audience strategy, and core engagement pathways across educators, school leaders, NGOs, and ecosystem actors
3. Build SArC’s ecosystem presence through open resources, networks, convenings, knowledge-sharing platforms, and partnerships that strengthen adoption of visual arts and SEL
4. Establish practical success measures for the vertical across reach, engagement, adoption, visibility, and ecosystem influence

Open Resources and IP Dissemination

1. Lead the packaging and dissemination of SArC’s curriculum, tools, facilitation approaches, activity banks, educator guides, and other resources as open-access public goods
2. Work with the curriculum, training, Art Connect, and program teams to identify resources that can be adapted for wider ecosystem use
3. Ensure resources are simple, accessible, easy to use, and relevant for educators, school leaders, NGOs, and practitioners across varied contexts
4. Create mechanisms to gather user feedback, understand resource usage, and identify examples of adoption or adaptation across the ecosystem

Educator Network Building

1. Build and activate a wider network of educators, school leaders, NGO facilitators, and practitioners interested in creative classrooms, visual arts, SEL, and holistic learning
2. Design and manage communities of practice, learning circles, webinars, resource-sharing spaces, school leader sessions, and educator engagement campaigns
3. Identify and nurture educator, school leader, and practitioner champions who can share stories, practices, and examples with the wider network
4. Track network growth, active participation, repeat engagement, and retention across community platforms and engagement channels

Convenings, Campaigns and Public Engagement

1. Lead the design and execution of ecosystem convenings that build visibility, dialogue, and collaboration around visual arts, SEL, creativity, and holistic education
2. Own or support platforms such as the SArC Symposium, thematic roundtables, public campaigns, student showcases, webinars, and ecosystem learning spaces
3. Build partnerships with schools, NGOs, artists, museums, galleries, cultural institutions, funders, and other relevant actors for ecosystem-facing initiatives
4. Use public engagement spaces to build awareness, deepen SArC’s credibility, and bring more stakeholders into the conversation on visual arts and SEL

Knowledge Sharing and Thought Leadership

1. Work with the Research & Impact team to identify relevant insights, evidence, and learning that can inform ecosystem conversations and public-facing engagement
2. Support the dissemination of SArC’s learning through formats such as practice notes, blogs, case studies, Art Speaks, educator stories, public explainers, and sector platforms
3. Identify opportunities for SArC to contribute to relevant conferences, publications, panels, learning spaces, and collaborative knowledge initiatives
4. Strengthen SArC’s visibility as a thought leader in visual arts, SEL, creativity, and holistic education

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Team Building

1. Collaborate with curriculum, research, Art Connect, Art-a-Day, communications, programs, and systems integration teams to surface relevant resources
2. Build and manage a lean team over time, including roles such as community management, convenings, resource packaging, or communications support as required
3. Create systems, rituals, and workflows for the vertical to work effectively across teams while remaining focused, scalable, and aligned with SArC’s mission
4. Support capacity building within the team on community engagement, resource packaging, convening design, ecosystem partnerships, and knowledge-sharing

Qualifications & Experience:

• Undergraduate or Master’s degree in education, development studies, public policy, social sciences, communications, arts management, design, or related fields
• 10+ years of relevant experience in education, social impact, ecosystem building, partnerships, community building, communications, knowledge management, or program strategy
• Strong understanding of India’s education ecosystem, especially school education, teacher development, holistic education, SEL, arts education, or child development
• Experience building or managing communities, networks, partnerships, learning platforms, or ecosystem-facing initiatives
• Experience developing or disseminating toolkits, resources, campaigns, learning sessions, public goods, or knowledge products
• Prior experience in the development or impact sector is strongly preferred
• Experience managing teams or cross-functional project teams is desirable

• Ability to design high-quality learning spaces, roundtables, webinars, symposiums, and ecosystem events
• Strong execution orientation, with the ability to move from strategy to implementation across multiple workstreams
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including curriculum, research, technology, communications, programs, and leadership
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to build a new function from the ground up
