About the Role:

The Senior Associate in the Curriculum team will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's curriculum by bringing together content expertise, field insights, and collaborative design. They will ensure the curriculum remains relevant, engaging, and ready for effective delivery across various formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Plan & Material Development:
  • Design lesson plans and supporting materials for students, teachers, and government stakeholders in both digital and physical formats.
  • Visualize and specify materials needed to support each lesson.
  • Help create digital curriculum elements like videos and chatbots, aligning them with learning goals.
• Research & Contextual Understanding:
  • Use primary and secondary sources to research student realities, local contexts, and the broader career education landscape.
  • Stay informed about regional trends that influence curriculum needs.
• Classroom Engagement:
  • Deliver high-quality sessions based on developed lesson plans.
  • Observe classroom dynamics during field visits and gather insights to improve student outcomes.
• Curriculum Execution Support:
  • Assist in curriculum projects, including content writing, reviewing, translating, and testing.
  • Support language reviews and translations across English and at least one regional language.
  • Manage vendors for printing, design, and translation.

Profile Requisites:

• Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience working in a classroom, with a strong understanding of student needs and facilitation dynamics.
• Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to independently build, write, and visualize engaging lesson plans.
  • Ability to deliver structured, student-centered sessions with measurable learning impact.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English and at least one of Hindi, Marathi, or Urdu.
• Attributes:
  • Comfortable with occasional travel to classrooms and field sites to observe sessions and gather feedback.
