Placement Officer

Job Title: Placement Officer 
Positions: 1 (One)
Location – Siliguri, West Bengal
Experience: Candidate must have minimum 2-3 years of experience as Placement officer. Having a pool of Placement Lead provide added advantage. Working experience in development sector specially working on Employability/Skill Development will be preferred. Can work within the strict target of Placements. 

Qualification: The candidate should be master’s in Social Work/equivalent and he/she should have good command over the subject. The candidate should be willing to travel within Kolkata for Counselling and Placement purpose. 

Job Description: 
• Placing candidates every month to different organizations, factory, shops, malls & other offices. Ensure 75% placement of the Total Project Target. 
• Develop a Placement Lead Database for future reference. 
• Coordination with the Project Manager & Team for better communication.
• Connecting Reach India with different organization.
• Motivate and nurture the youth candidates aged between 18-30 years so that they are prepared enough for the job interviews and ready to take placements.
• Screening of the Students.
• Conducting Parents teacher meeting.
• Arranging Industrial training session. 
Core duties and responsibilities:
• Professionally manage the Screening sessions in the Vocational Training Centre.
• Monitoring the Career Counselling and Screening process.
• Provide guidance and support to the screened candidates for their job placements.
• Submit reports in the specified formats designed by the donor and the Reach India Trust as a mandatory compliance.
• Ensuring 75% placement to the students.
Report writing and Documentation:
• Documentation on the counselling activities of the centre as Reach India initiatives.
• Coordinate, implement and document the counselling processes with the support of other staff.
