Swaniti Initiative is hiring a Global Critical Minerals Lead to spearhead efforts at the intersection of climate governance, sustainability, and mineral transitions. This is a senior leadership role based in Delhi, aimed at professionals with a deep understanding of critical minerals and proven experience working across countries and government systems.
The position offers a unique opportunity to shape policy, lead strategic research, and engage with governments across the Global South to foster sustainable, inclusive, and equitable transitions in the critical minerals sector.
Develop and implement strategic programs around critical minerals and sustainability.
Provide policy expertise and advisory to government stakeholders at national and international levels.
Lead and contribute to research papers, publications, and position documents on critical minerals.
Build partnerships with institutions, NGOs, and global networks to promote just transitions.
Represent Swaniti Initiative in policy forums, roundtables, and global events.
Monitor global trends and best practices around mineral governance and environmental policies.
Minimum 7 years of experience in critical minerals, environmental governance, or related sectors.
Must have worked in multiple countries, ideally across the Global South.
Prior experience engaging with state or central government agencies is highly desirable.
Postgraduate degree in any discipline.

Strong leadership and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to write and publish technical or policy documents.
